Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Arrive and have your morning breakfast, then drive to Lake Mburo National Park through the small towns of Uganda. Make a stopover at the Equator line for a photograph and some informative talks and experiments. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you drive to your lodge\hotel for check-in and have lunch. After lunch, you will have a game drive as you drive to the lake for a boat cruise in search of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds among others.

Drive time: 3-4 hours
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Morning breakfast checks out, enjoy an en-route game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in South Western Uganda. This journey takes you through the green rolling hills of Uganda with banana and tea plantations and good scenic views. Lunch en route and you will arrive in Bwindi at your lodge in the evening.

Drive time: 5-6 hours.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi National Park
On this day you will have your breakfast with your packed lunch ready, drive to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts while on your Gorilla Tracking You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your ranger guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but accessible to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. Once you find them you will spend one hour with them before hiking back to the Park offices where you will be awarded a certificate as a souvenir after contributing to conserving for these great apes

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning after your breakfast you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and then after you will go an evening game drive in the plains of Kasenyi area the Northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of savannah wildlife that may include herds of buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and if lucky, some wild cats such as lions and leopards.

Drive time: 5-6 hours
Day 5: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel
This morning you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive and try to find what you could have missed the previous evening. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will drive to the jetty along the Kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and much other wildlife that flop the channel for drinking water.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge, drive to the Northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park (Kasenyi) area for an en-route game drive in searches the wild animals which include: Elephants, Buffalos, and the wild cats, Savanna birds, and deferent species of antelopes such waterbuck Uganda kobs among others. You will have lunch en-route and then drive to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon.

Drive time: 3-4 hours
Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Community walk in Kibale National Park
This morning after breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters to join other trackers for a briefing about the dos and the don’ts while in the forest and after you will be taken for your chimpanzee tracking, through Kibale Forest National Park. During this walk, you may have chances of seeing some of the 13 different primate species native to Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch, you will drive to Bigodi for a community walk where you interact directly with the people neighboring the National park.

Day 8: Drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your flight out.
This morning after your breakfast you will be transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe International Airport for your next flight out and this marks the end of our eight days gorilla Tour.
