Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up From Entebbe International Airport

On arrival you will be met at the airport by Safari Vacations & Travel Services Driver guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala, Depending on your arrival time an optional city tour can be arranged (exclusive to the planned budget) to visit some of the prime attractions in and around Kampala and Entebbe upon your planned tour. You will, therefore, proceed to the arranged place of accommodation to relax and prepare for the following day’s activity.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Lodge: Boma Hotel Entebbe/ Papyrus Guest House Entebbe

Drive time: 2 hours one way

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja for White Water Rafting Experience

Today, after early morning breakfast, you will start your drive to Jinja for the Magnificent Uganda adventure experience. You will drive through Mabira forest the tropical rain forest in central Uganda, tea, and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets arriving at Kalagala fall in time for your full or half-day white water rafting adventure on the Nile. You will meet other visitors at the rafters company’s offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts plus the levels of waters, depending on your interests, some clients prefer level 3 or level 5 rapids. Thereafter you will drive to the starting point of your half/ full day white water rafting on the Nile

Lodge: Kampala Forest Cottages or Secrets Guest House Entebbe

Drive time: 2 hours one way

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Early this morning after your breakfast, our safari driver guide will brief you on the next long drive before you depart to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda. On your way, you will have a stopover at the equator for some informative talk, photography, and some experiments before proceeding to Mbarara town arriving in time for Lunch. After lunch, you will then drive through the rolling green hills of Kigezi (Switzerland of Africa) arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening.

Meal Plan: Full Board

Lodge: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Drive time: 8-9 hours.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Experience.

After early morning breakfast, you will meet your guide again and drive to the park headquarters and meet other travelers for briefing at 7:30 am about the dos and don’ts when you meet the Gorillas in the forest. This trek may take between 30 minutes to three-quarters of the day, depending on where the Mountain Gorillas will be found. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet Endangered Creatures, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them and observe their way of life and how they survive, take plenty of pictures, and ask the rangers questions of your choice upon them for clarification. You will return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate in recognition of your effort in contributing to the conservation of these endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe

Early morning after being served breakfast, you will be offered packed lunch  for your long drive to end your trip, our safari guide will, therefore, pick you from the lodge and you start your long drive back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport for a late departure out of Uganda
