This tour visits to great destinations in Rwanda. It will take you to Ruhengeri to trek gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, to Nyungwe Forest National Park for Golden Monkey trekking in the forest or the adrenaline canopy walk. Gisenyi for relaxation on Lake Kivu and a canoe ride before proceeding to Kigali for Departure.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Hotel to Volcanoes National Park.
On this day you will meet Safari Vacations & Travel service driver Guide after your morning breakfast who will take you up for Kigali City Tour. In the land of a thousand hills, our experienced tour guide will take you through to the different sites you are interested in visiting while on this Kigali city tour. You will visit Kandt house or museum of natural history where Dr. Richard Kandt the first German colonial resident of Rwanda resided, a presidential museum which is the residence of two of the former Presidents of Rwanda, Kigali genocide memorial site commemorating the 1994 Rwandan Genocide
Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda and the country’s vibrant commercial center with an all-year-round moderate climate allowing you to visit any time of the year. After the city tour, you will be therefore transferred to Volcanoes national park

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience
After an early breakfast, you will be picked by our driver guide who will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while on the trek. Note that gorilla trekking begins at 7:30 am you will enjoy the Rwandan hospitality of traditional dances and a hot Rwandan coffee before the beginning of the trek. Depending on the location of the family of gorillas you will trek, the driver guide will transfer you to the start of the trailhead for the allocated gorilla group. The time taken to meet gorillas varies between an hour and several hours depending on their movements in the forest seeking their food. The park authority allows visitors to spend a maximum of an hour with the gorillas and once this time elapse you will head back to the ground to relax at your places of accommodation.

Drive Time: Approximately 2 Hour drive
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu for a boat safari
On this day safari travel guide will pick you up from the hotel and proceed to Lake Kivu for a boat ride on the lake. This is one of the breathtaking experiences on the Lake as you will be able to view the beautiful Virunga ranges, enjoy swimming on the shores of Gisenyi, Sportfishing among other activities around the area. Drive Time: Approximately 2 Hour drive
Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali
On this last day for your tour, Safari vacations & Travel services driver guide will pick you from the hotel after checkout and drive you by the countryside back to Kigali to end your 4-day safari in Kigali the land of a thousand Hills.
