3 Days Murchison Falls Safari
Overview
The 3-Day Murchison Falls National Park tour takes you to the largest park, situated in northwestern Uganda on an area of 3,840 sq Km. The Park is classified with savannah grassland and the Victoria Nile that separates the park into two, the northern and southern banks. The park has an array of birds and animals inclusive of big cats, elephants, buffalos, and so on. You will have a chance to enjoy both our game drives, boat cruise, and a visit to the top of the falls. This safari also allows you to see the big 5 animals; leopards, lions, buffalos, elephants, and rhinos.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National park
After an early breakfast, you will meet with the guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services to start your drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stop en route at Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary to track the Rhinos and thereafter have lunch. You will connect to Murchison Falls National Park with a thrilling drive to the top of the falls. You’ll have a mini and a mini-game drive as you to the lodge for check-in and overnight.

Drive time: Approximately 5-6 hours Drive.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
After an early breakfast, your guide will wait for you to start your morning game drive. You’ll be looking for early grazers, and while on your drive, you may have the opportunity to see many animals such as buffalos, elephants, warthogs, and many more. Depending on your day’s luck, you may spot the big cats like lions and leopards. This however is not a guarantee as we cannot make any appointments with nature.
After breakfast, take a short rest at the lodge as you prepare for the late afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the Nile. You will meet your guide again, who will transfer you to the pier for your late afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the Nile. Here, the Victoria Nile surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop and you may see various animals along the banks of the river. Expect to see monitor lizards, hippos, crocodiles and many other animals that will have come to cool off.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe/ Kampala
After breakfast, bid farewell to your lodge and check out. You will have a morning game drive to look for the would-be missed-out animals. Then, drive back to Entebbe/Kampala to end your 3-day safari.
