Gorilla Sectors in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
In the northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, one can find Buhoma, which serves as a habitat for gorilla families. These include the Mubare gorilla family with 11 members, Rushegura with 19 members, and the Habiyanja family with 18 members.
Moving to the south, we come across the Rushaga sector, which is home to families like Bweza with 12 members, Busingye with 9 members, Nsongi with 7 members, Kahugye with 17 members, and Mishaya with 12 members.
In the south, a family has been habituated in the Nkuringo area. This family consists of Bushaho with 8 members and the Nkuringo family with 12 members. Additionally, there is a new family, Bikingi, with 15 members.
Ruhija family lies in the east part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with habituation families of BItukura with 13 family members, Kyaguliro with 20 family members, and Oruzogo with 17 family members.
