Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Early morning pick up in Arusha and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Early morning, your tour guide will pick you up from Arusha either at a hotel or place of residence. Have a briefing about the trip and board your safari vehicle for a transfer to Serengeti National Park. Have a cultural tour before reaching the park then check into the park for an evening game drive. Explore the park trails in search of wildlife and see as much action in the jungle as nature will provide that evening. Some of the animals that can be spotted in the Serengeti plains include the wildebeest, hundreds of zebras, buffalos, and elephants. Also, great predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. By sunset, check in at an earlier preferred hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Have a morning game drive and return to Arusha by the afternoon.
Following breakfast carry a packed breakfast and head out to the park for a morning game drive. Have a chance to see several wildlife species at sunrise as they start their day for several hours. Morning game drives offer higher chances of seeing the big cats and predators including spotted hyenas. After the game drive, take a road drive back to Arusha. You can spend the night in Arusha. Or take a flight to Entebbe International Airport and spend the night in Entebbe.

Day 3: Pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Either on arrival or from a hotel in Entebbe, you will be picked up for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The road drive takes several hours as you transfer to the far western region of Uganda where the mountain gorillas inhabit. Arrive in the evening and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations for Uganda gorilla safaris. During the briefing, 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family. This depends on their hiking ability. The trek starts with each group being accompanied by a park ranger talking. This takes about 2-6 hours depending on where the gorillas spent their previous night. Upon seeing the gorillas a maximum of 1 hour is allocated in the presence of these gentle giants for photography and amazing moments. After the trek, you return to the park headquarters where you receive a gorilla trekking certificate. Your driver-guide then ensures a safe transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for refreshment and relaxation. Spend the night at a hotel near the deepest lake in the country.

Day 5: Early morning road transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight.
From Lake Bunyonyi, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight. Arrive in Entebbe by afternoon and either go shopping or go straight to the airport depending on your flight time.
