The lodge has 15 cottages on the hill. There are 9 standard cottages, 5 deluxe cottages, and one family cottage. Also, each has private facilities of bathrooms, toilets, and large balconies overlooking the lovely areas of Bwindi. The rooms have free-standing bathtubs where guests relax and rejuvenate their body and mind. Guests enjoy this after the tiring daytime activities of gorilla trekking, Batwa experience, and others.

Getting there
Gorilla Heights Lodge is in Kisoro district and you can access it by road or air. It takes about 10 hours to reach there by road from Kampala or Entebbe. Also, it is about 5 hours from Kigali. By air, Aerolink operates daily from different areas. These include Entebbe, Kajjansi, and Queen Elizabeth to Kisoro airstrip. From Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airstrip to Kisoro, it takes about one and a half hours. Meanwhile, you arrive at Kisoro airstrip and then have about a 40-minute drive to the lodge.
