- By Road: Lake Mburo National Park is strategically positioned between the towns of Masaka and Mbarara, along the primary southwestern road connecting Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Covering a distance of 228km, the drive from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park takes approximately 3-4 hours each way. Access points to the park include Kyanyanshara Gate, providing a route to Mihingo Lodge, as well as Akagate Gate and Sanga Gate leading to Rwakobo Rock Lodge. Due to its proximity to the main road, the park is readily accessible, and you can easily follow the signposts of Uganda Wildlife Authority for guidance.
- By Air; Flying Safari to Lake Mburo National Park is also available via charter and scheduled flights from Kajjansi and Entebbe International Airport, operators of these route include Aero Link Uganda and Fly Uganda among others. This however needs to be booked in advance given the fact the routing is mostly determined by the number of travelers aboard the flight with the minimum being 4 people.
