Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1:Arrival in Bujumbura

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our company representative who will transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

DAY 2:Transfer to Kirundo, visiting the birder’s lakes

After an early breakfast, we drive 200 kilometers from Bujumbura, in the North-East of Burundi, Kirundo a region of extensive depressions dotted with many lakes and abounding in birdlife. There are many dotted lakes on in the bird discovery is always done using a canoe boat. On the road leading to Birds Lakes, we will stop not far from Bugarama to see splendid tea plantations at Teza. Take pictures return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

DAY 3:Kibira Forest National Park

Early Visit Kibira National Park with a nature walk, there you might encounter some baboons, and chimpanzees, You will also encounter several bird safaris After lunch drive to Bujumbura city for a mini city tour

DAY 4:Departure

On this last day of our birding safaris, we will transfer to the airport to transfer back home safely.
