This safari takes you on a wildlife visit to Amboseli and Tsavo West National Park. These are some of the best and most popular wildlife destinations in Kenya. During your visit to these parks, expect to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowcapped summit. Also, expect to see the Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava, Yatta Plateau, and a variety of wildlife. Detailed itinerary of 6 days Kenya Wildlife and Diani Beach Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our safari representative from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will warmly welcome you. He will give you a short briefing about the safari and transfer to Amboseli National Park. The park is popular as “The Land of the Giants”.

From Nairobi City where the safari starts, it is a drive of approximately 4-5 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the countryside of Kenya. You’ll have a few stops for pictures, and when you arrive in the park, the backdrop of the snow-capped of Mount Kilimanjaro will usher you. On your arrival, you will check into your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the park for an afternoon game drive.

On the game drive, you will enjoy sightings of animals. These include elephants, cape buffaloes, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, impalas, lions, and leopards among others. After sunset, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer from Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Wake up early for a cup of coffee and transfer to Amboseli National Park. You’ll embark on an early morning game drive and enjoy the spectacular sunrise. As the sun rises over the snowcapped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, you’ll see such a spectacular view. An early morning game drive is a perfect experience to spot early risers and predators. Henceforth, they return from hunting such as leopards, African wild dogs, hyenas, and many other animals such as elephants, and Masai Giraffes among others.

Return to your lodge for a late breakfast, checkout, and transfer to Tsavo West National Park. This is a great Kenya wildlife destination that many tourists love. This is because it’s home to a variety of wildlife. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after checking in. Then, in the afternoon you will go for a game drive to sight animals. Some of the animals you should expect to see include rhinos, dust–red elephants, and cape buffaloes. Also, expect to see waterbucks and a spectacular sunset. Transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full-day Tsavo West National Park Exploration

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and transfer to the plains of Tsavo West National Park. You’ll embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. On this day you will fully explore the park and enjoy a picnic lunch set in the park. During the game drive, you will enjoy sights of animals such as large herds of elephants in the plains of Amboseli. Also, expect to see leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, Cape buffaloes, rhinos, crocodiles, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, and lesser kudu among others. You will also enjoy the magnificent views of the park. Your lunch will be set on one of the picnic sites in the park. Then, go for another game drive exploring the park more. In the evening you will transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer from Tsavo West to Diani Beach

Wake up early for breakfast, check off the lodge, and transfer to Diani Beach. This is one of the best beach destinations in the world. most people love it because of its clear waters and crystal white sands. You will arrive at the Beach in time for lunch which you will have after checking into your resort.

You will spend the evening relaxing at the resort’s swimming pool. Take a walk along the white sand beach or take a swim in the blue clear ocean waters. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Full-day Diani Sea Resort

You will spend a full day relaxing at Diani Beach. You may choose to spend the day relaxing at the resort’s swimming pool or read a book. Alternatively, you may head out to the beach for a walk on the crystal white sand shores. Take a swim in the clear waters, participate in scuba diving, snorkeling, or sunset dhow cruise.

Day 6: Fly back to Nairobi and Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of the resort and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip. Here, you’ll embark on your flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airstrip, upon landing at Wilson Airport. Then, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You’ll then embark on your flight back home or drop off at your hotel in Nairobi marking the end of the safari.
