DAY 1: Pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Your driver will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Kampala. Then, you will drive south to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, you will stop over for lunch, and you will then proceed to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Chahafi Resort or Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge.
DAY 2: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Have morning breakfast and assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers. Proceed for the memorable exercise in the forest, an activity that may take 1-9 hours depending on the movement of these human cousins. Meet and stay with them for a maximum of one hour after you come back from the forest, and you will then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

DAY 3: Gorilla Tracking Experience
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides, who will allocate you a gorilla family group you will trek that day. Once you have your group confirmed, 8 people, the ranger guides will lead you into the thick, impenetrable forest to start your search for the endangered, rare species of mountain gorillas. The gorilla search always continues from the place where they were last seen the previous day. Upon reaching the area where those famous species are, you will only be allowed to interact with them for 1 hour, and you should always keep maximum silence while with these human cousins. Equally important, you are allowed to take photographs and so on.

Gorilla tracking can sometimes be strenuous, depending on the trek that day, which is normally determined by the weather and movement of the gorillas in the forest, but given the fact that it is a very well-organized activity, you have a 99% chance of seeing the gorillas on your trek. Furthermore, the trek is guided by advanced trackers who monitor the gorilla movements all day in the forest. With this, they will know where they nested for the last night,t and that’s where you start looking for them. The 2 ranger guides will lead you through the trek, clearing trails, creating new trails, and sharing with you information about the mountain gorillas and Bwindi forest. After the trek, you will return to the starting point to pick up your certificates as a sign of successful tracking of the mountain gorillas in Bwindi’s impenetrable forest national park.

DAY 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon at the park, you will have an en route and stops along the way for sightseeing. On arrival at the hotel, you will be warmly welcomed and check in for relaxing, later you will go for an evening game drive to search for the late grazers, and after returning to the lodge for overnight.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular and diverse conservation area with a variety of habitats ranging from grassland, acacia woodlands, forests, wetlands, and open water that sustains a wide range of mammals,s with the major ones being the big 4 and the remarkable tally of bird life, reaching over 604 bird species.

DAY 5: Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
After breakfast, you will drive to Kisenyi plains for a morning game drive to search for early-bird wildlife. Some of the animals you will see include elephants, large herds of buffalo, leopards, antelopes, bushbucks, and more.
The morning game drive will take you approximately 2-3 hours. Then you will drive to the Mweya peninsula for a hot lunch, relax, and go for an afternoon boat cruise safari on the Kazinga channel. This boat ride is something worth considering as the highlight of your safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have to enjoy the wildlife as they enjoy the shores of the channel. After the cruise, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and a night’s stay.

DAY 6: Morning game drives /visit Katwe salt lakes and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Have a morning game drive through the Mweya Peninsula with all your belongings in the car. After an hour’s game drive, you will continue with the journey to Kigali. If not a game drive, you can visit Katwe Salt Lakes.
After, you will drive to Kibale National Park with a stopover for lunch on your way to the national park. On the influx, you will have a nature walk through the Bigodi swamp awesome sightseeing of the resident monkeys and birds.
Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 species of primates and over 335 bird species. This makes it a popular destination for birders and primate lovers.

Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House, Mountain of the Moon Hotel, Primates Lodge Kibale
DAY 7: Chimpanzee Tracking
You will have an early breakfast. Thereafter, your driver guide will take you to Kthe anyanchu head offices for a briefing about the track. From there, you will start the chimpanzee track.k
In addition, you will see different primate species like velvet monkeys and gray-cheeked mangabeys.
DAY 8: Departure back to Kampala/Entebbe to end your 8 days at Uganda Primates and Wildlife Safari
In the early morning after breakfast, drive back to Kampala /Entebbe to end the tour.
