This 7-day Uganda adventure Safari allows you to visit Murchison Falls, Uganda’s biggest game park. You go there for thrilling game drives and a Nile launch cruise. The Safari takes you on a chimpanzee trekking experience in the Kibale forest. Meanwhile, go for another game and birding experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park. By the end of this safari, you will have a wildlife experience like no other.

Detailed itinerary of the 7-day Uganda Adventure Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Your driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel or Entebbe International Airport. Before starting the trip, he will brief you and then proceed with the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch from Masindi town at one of the historical hotels in Masindi district. You will reach Murchison Falls and your driver will take you for a game drive where you view a variety of wildlife. The wildlife includes impalas, elephants, lions, leopards, and bee-eaters to mention a few. You will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Have breakfast and head for a game drive where you view different wildlife. This includes animals like herds of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and bee-eaters to list a few. Have lunch and return for afternoon activity on the Nile River. You will go to the bottom of the falls where the water forces itself out of the narrow rocks. Then, You will spot crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and other animals when on river bank drinking water. You will then go back to the lodge for overnight and dinner at the same lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After morning breakfast, the driver will transfer you to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park has an ever-green forest that contains a diverse array of landscapes and, a variety of mammals and bird species. Kibale National Park is home to many chimpanzees and has a habituation center for chimpanzees. You will pass via Lake Albert where you will see the beautiful view of Lake Albert. Then, proceed to Hoima for lunch. On arrival at Kibale National Park, you will check in with the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
You will have morning breakfast very early in the morning and pack your lunch. Then, proceed to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on rules and guidelines for chimpanzee tracking. You will then start the search in the jungle. Apart from chimpanzees, you will view other wildlife like bushpigs, elephants, and blue monkeys to list a few. You will also view Bird species during the tracking process. One of the endemic bird species is the Great Blue Turaco, which you will see in the forest. After finding the chimpanzees, you will have one hour to spend with them. After, you will trek back to the starting center. You will return to the lodge for lunch and later you can go for nature walks in the nearby community.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have morning breakfast, and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park by your professional driver. On your way to the park, you’ll have chances to spot climbing lions from the park. You’ll also spot buffaloes, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs to list a few. You will check in at the lodge, have lunch, and later head for an evening game drive.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Boat Ride
Wake up for morning breakfast and thereafter head for a game drive. Early game drives are so interesting, as you get to see the animals sunbathing and have not set off for hunting. The guide will help you to spot wildlife like herds of elephants, lions, and leopards to list a few. Also, you will see a lot of bird species. After the game drive, head back to the lodge go back to the lodge for lunch, and set off for a boat ride. While On a boat ride, you’ll be able to spot hippos, crocodiles, and flamingos on the waterside. Back to the lodge and rest as you prepare for a transfer to Kampala to end your safari.

Day 7: Transfer to Kampala
Take an African cup of coffee and set off for Kampala. The driver will go slowly so that you view more wildlife while going back. You will have lunch from Mbarara, as well as a visit to the Igongo Cultural Center and the Eclipse monument. Also, you will have a stopover at the Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and experiments. Then, the driver will drop you off either at the airport or the hotel.
