Overview:
Our 4-Day Memorable Holiday with Gorillas in Uganda Safari takes you to Lake Mburo NP, Bwindi Impenetrable NP, and Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. While in Mburo, go out for game viewing and head to Bwindi. Enjoy the ultimate gorilla trekking experience and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and sightseeing.
Depart Bunyonyi with very spectacular memories of the Bunyonyi little islands. You’ll continue to Entebbe Airport for a drop-off and your outbound flight.
Day 1:
Arrive at Entebbe Airport (before 1400hrs) Transfer to Lake Mburo NP
We hope your flight is scheduled for an early (before 14:00) landing at Entebbe Airport. Upon arrival, you will be received by the assigned English-speaking Professional Tour Driver-guide who will welcome you into the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, you will hit the road for a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Depending on your arrival time, you will reach Mburo between the early afternoon hours and late evening hours. #Optional (extra cost): Just in case you have reached early and are interested, you may proceed out for a breathtaking night game drive.
Day 2:
Morning game drive and then, transfer to accommodation in Bwindi
Enjoy your breakfast as early as possible then proceed for an exciting morning game drive in the park. Expect to see the gigantic eland antelope, zebras in big numbers, topi, impalas, Buffaloes, and other savannah animals. Alternatively, you may choose the morning bush/park walk (at an extra cost of USD 30 pp) in the presence of an armed ranger guide. You will return to your accommodation then check out and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable NP.
Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring over 300 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population), including several habituated groups, that you can trek. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next morning.

Day 3:
Gorilla trekking Bwindi Forest and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation
Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have a gorilla group, you will be in a position to be in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation, check out, and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.
Day 4:
Depart Bunyonyi and return to Entebbe to catch a flight out.
You will have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of the Bunyonyi little islands just right in front of you. Thereafter, you will hit the road for the return to Entebbe (arriving in the late afternoon/evening) for your flight out.
