Day 1:
Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Meet our driver guide for briefing and drive from either Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park- a home of mountain gorillas in southwestern Uganda. The journey takes approximately 8 hours on the road however; there is an optional internal flight from either Kajansi airstrip or Entebbe to Kihihi airstrip if you are phobic to long journeys. Check in your booked lodge for relaxation, enjoy the magnificent views of the forest, and prepare yourself for a Luxury Gorilla Trekking Tour in Bwindi Forest.

Day 2:
Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Batwa encounter
Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides and later head into the forest to start your African Luxury Gorilla Tour in the jungle. Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement and location of the gorillas for that day. Once you find them, you will stay with the gorillas for 1 hour to view and take photos. Later descend to the starting point to pick up your certificates and head back to your lodge for relaxation and enjoy an evening Batwa trail.

Day 3:
Transfer back to Kampala
Enjoy breakfast and drive back to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo Cultural Center for a hot lunch. Proceed to Kampala arriving in the afternoon for a drop off at your hotel in Kampala, or Entebbe airport to catch up with your booked flight.

About Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 459 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked.
This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.
Bwindi is home to at least 200 butterfly species including the eight Albertine rift endemics.
