The Budget Buhoma Community Rest Camp comprises a 6-bed dormitory, six well-furnished and self-contained safari tents, three self-contained cottages, and two non-self-contained room cottages, known as Bandas, as well as several campsite options.
This facility predominantly utilizes traditional African raw materials, providing it with a distinctive African architectural style and ambiance.
Established in 1993, Budget Buhoma Community Rest Camp has been a cornerstone of the Buhoma Community Development Association (BCDA). This association encompasses over 7000 community members, all of whom benefit from the financial contributions. A portion of the revenue generated from the lodge is allocated towards supporting local schools, hospitals, and various community projects.
