4 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife & Nature Safari

Have a 4-day Lake Mburo Wildlife & Nature safari for a gaze at the wonderful wildlife animals. These animals include zebras, impalas, elands, topi, buffaloes, and a lot more species. Definitely, these are the animals that you will see when you head to the western part of Uganda. You find Lake Mburo National Park which is the smallest but more interesting destination in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife & Nature Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Kampala

In the evening, your driver-guide will pick you up from the airport in Entebbe. Then, he’ll brief you about the whole trip before driving to Kampala. You’ll thus check in at the hotel in Kampala as you prepare to embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Alternatively, you can go for a brief Kampala city tour depending on your level of fatigue.

Dinner and Overnight: Sheraton Kampala Hotel/Fairway Hotel

Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

Depart Kampala after breakfast for Lake Mburo National Park. The drive will take you about 3-4 hours with a stopover at the equator and the local village. Here, you’ll see how the local villages live their day-to-day life. Then, continue through the savannah grasslands with settlements, plantations, and several herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle. Have lunch at the lodge on arrival, and then go for a boat trip on the lake. The lake is rich in wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and bird species. Thereafter, head back to the lodge for dinner and sleepover

Dinner and Overnight: Mihingo Lodge/Kigarama Safari Lodge/Hyena Hill Lodge

Destination: Lake Mburo National Park

Day 3: Game Drive and Nature Walk

Have an early morning game drive through the park look out for animals like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. There after return to your lodge for breakfast and then proceed with a guided nature walk that will take you to the salt lick area that offers a chance to see species of animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Travel Back to Kampala

Early morning breakfast and then transfer to Kampala arriving in the afternoon ,have your lunch meal and then either do a city tour in case your still in the country and if not transfer to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight.
