Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days Gorillas & Cultural Safari Uganda

Day 1: Arrival at Bwindi Forest National Park

After breakfast, meet our driver guide to the southwest via the Masaka-Mbarara highway. Meanwhile, you’ll have en-route break the Uganda equator at Kayabwe. This will be a nice time for you to have an experience where you can stand in two halves of the world. When here take many photographs, buy snacks, and buy souvenirs from the craft shops. Then, continue on transfer to Bwindi Forest with lunch at any nice hotel in Mbarara. After, continue on the journey to the park and when you reach here, check in at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Forest

On this day, have an early morning breakfast and then proceed to park headquarters for a short briefing. You’ll learn about the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi Forest. After briefing, you continue into the green forest vegetation habitat to trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours.
Then, after some time, you get to meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking photos to keep. After Gorilla Trekking, then return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Kisoro

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then transfer to Kisoro with lunch en route. After a while, you reach the Park and check in at the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Travelers’ Rest Hotel

Day 4: Batwa Cultural Tour

On this day, you’ll have Breakfast and then proceed to visit the Batwa cultural trail to experience. You’ll experience cultural performances as you visit their caves. Also, you’ll engage in their traditions and customs. Then, have Dinner and Overnight at Travelers’ Rest Hotel.

Day 5: Depart to Kampala/ Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast then with all luggage, depart to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board a flight back home.
