budget gorilla trekking Safaris
Budget gorilla trekking safaris – Bwindi impenetrable National Park
Budget gorilla trekking safaris – Many people have looked at budget gorilla trekking as an avenue where gorilla experience is for those who have little coffers, this is never the same! As Safari vacations & travel services our interpretation is different as we aim at proper service delivery to all our clients regardless of their categories.
Budget gorilla packages aim to ensure that every one undertakes the life changing experience to encounter wildlife and mountain gorillas in both Uganda and Rwanda. Unlike the differences in the cost of gorilla permits in Uganda and Rwanda, Uganda stands out with favorable gorilla offers as permits go for as low as $600.00 per person per trek with one hour experience with the endangered primates in the jungle.
However there is no budget gorilla trekking in Rwanda since it became a luxury gorilla trekking destination after doubling the cost of their gorilla permits from $750 to $ 1500 an amount that can complete your simple gorilla package in Uganda for 3 days gorilla tracking experience and have some change. More so in DR Congo the permits cost $450 but their transport and accommodation services are at a high cost than the rest of the trekking regions.
Considerations for budget gorilla tour
The first consideration one ought not to forget and the first consideration should be getting a gorilla permit and how much it cost and how it can easily be accessed. This is the basis of everything whereby you can’t undertake the expedition without having a gorilla trekking permit. The fore the cost of a gorilla permit in Uganda goes for $600 but to be increased to $700 as of 1ST JULY 2020, in Rwanda the cost of a gorilla permit is $1500. NOTE: All these permits are issued out by assigned regulatory bodies in their countries i.e. Uganda wildlife Authority and Rwanda development Board respectively and the cost don’t exclude whether you’re on a luxury or budget safari.
Permits can be accessed online for both countries by simply sending an email or a call to the offices with your dates, month and year to check for availability on your planned schedule but this can take time and thus we recommend use of a trusted local tour operator to help you acquire the permits since they have a wide understanding of the system and the sector as well.
