Early morning, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The park in Musanze. When you get to the park you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, you set off to the start of the hike. After the hike, you will then head to the starting point of the hike at the foothills of the mountain.
You can choose to hire a porter to help you carry the luggage at an extra cost. Meanwhile, it’s not a must as it depends on the interest of the client. The client may choose to hire a porter because he wants to move with the group without reducing physicality. The speed of the hike depends on the pace of the slowest person in the group. This aims at leaving no one behind as others go far.
When you reach the top, you will spend a night on the top of the volcano. Meanwhile, not far from the summit, there will be enough security that the rangers with arms will provide.
