Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Meet & Greet with our Driver Guide and Transfer to Admas for Overnight.
Day2:
Pick up from your hotel in Entebbe and transfer to Kajjansi airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip with Safari Vacations and Travel Services. The flight is 90 minutes saving you from long hours of driving.

Day 3:
Gorilla Trekking Experience
The morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will transfer to the starting point for a briefing about gorilla tracking by your guide. You will be allocated guides to track gorillas with, and then will be off to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guides and then it’s off! The time is taken and the terrain varies (1- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of sometimes long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful manner.
Day 4:
Morning Relaxation and Community Walk. Depart with an Afternoon Flight back to Entebbe Airport for your flight back to India to your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari from Mumbai India

Are there Flights to Uganda from India?
Direct Flights from Mumbai India to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda are readily available. Multiple Airlines service this route but the most popular is Uganda Airlines. This makes the connection for the Gorilla safari visitors very easy.
Where to find gorillas in Uganda?
Gorillas in Uganda are in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with 22 habituated gorilla families and the Mt. Mgahinga National Park in South Western Uganda with one habituated gorilla family. Only 8 Tourists are allowed to track each family per day and the tracking time takes anywhere between 2 to 7 hours. Once you encounter the mountain gorillas you are only allowed up to 1 hr maximum time with them.
Gorilla Permit Booking
Gorilla Permits are always in limited supply despite the high demand. The reason is that only 8 tourists are the ones to track a gorilla family per day and this is mainly for conservation reasons. A Gorilla Permit for Foreign non-nationals costs $800, Foreign Nationals costs $700. For East African Citizens the cost is Ugx. 300,000. However, Gorilla Permit fees are in all includes in all our packages provided by Safari Vacations and Travel Services.
Travel from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Access Bwindi Impenetrable Forests easily by a 1 hr and 20 minutes domestic flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airstrip. There after an hour road transfer to your lodge near the Gorilla Trekking Starting point in Bwindi.
If you choose to travel by road, this is an 8-hour scenic drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in South Western Uganda.
