3-Day Lake Mburo Wildlife
Your driver-guide will collect you from Entebbe or Kampala and begin the journey towards Lake Mburo National Park. Stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs, demonstrations and souvenir shopping before continuing through rolling countryside and traditional cattle-farming areas. Enter the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, topis and warthogs. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, explore Lake Mburo National Park during a morning game drive. Look for zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, elands, waterbucks and topis across the open savannah. Leopards and spotted hyenas are present but require luck to locate. After lunch, take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to observe hippos, Nile crocodiles and waterbirds such as African fish eagles, kingfishers, herons and African finfoots. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Begin the day with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger. Explore the park on foot while learning about animal tracks, plants, birds and the surrounding ecosystem. You may approach zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands and warthogs from a safe distance. Afterwards, return for breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the afternoon to end the safari.
