Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the main attraction on our African safaris in Uganda. This enormous tropical rainforest covers 33,100ha (331 Sq km) of strangely steep mountain rainforest and houses almost half of the world’s surviving 1000 mountain gorillas. Besides the 350 bird species, the forest is also a reservation for bushbuck, chimpanzees, African golden cats, the rare giant forest hog, and the gentle forest elephants.
This National Park is not only the place interesting enough to visit rather you’ll see below, but you can also track our playful cousins, the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park or just take a walk through the impressive villages and swamps nearby, or go in search of the Big 5 at Murchison Falls National Park and the savanna plains of the popular Queen Elizabeth National Park.
