Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Bujumbura International Airport
Upon arriving at Bujumbura International Airport, our guide will take you to Hotel du Lac Tanganyika for an overnight stay and relaxation.

Day 2: Full Day Birding in Rusizi National Park and Kigwena Forest Reserve
After breakfast, head to Rusizi National Park for a boat cruise on River Rusizi and Lake Tanganyika. Later, drive to Kigwena Forest Reserve for more birding adventures.

Day 3: Drive to Kibira National Park
Early breakfast, then drive to Kibira National Park for a full-day birding safari in the forest bordering Rwanda’s Nyungwe National Park. Discover diverse forest species.

Day 4: Drive to Vyanda National Park
Early morning departure to Vyanda Nature Reserve for birding. Look out for wild chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for refreshments and departure.
