Affordable Trekking Permits in Uganda

In these places where gorilla trekking happens, there are serious terms and conditions or restrictions to ensure the Mountain Gorillas staying health and wild beginning with  Gorilla trekking permits process. Daily views of each gorilla family are highly limited, therefore travellers are advised to book /apply  in advance far before the desired travelling dates.

In Uganda, gorilla permits are at USD700 per person per trek. Compared to Rwanda where gorilla permit is at USD1500 per person per trek thus making Uganda your choice to see the African Silverback Gorillas.

 Most gorilla trekking activities in Uganda occur in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park where multiple starting points are available and the region has several habituated gorilla families that can be tracked, treks are led by the park rangers and if it’s a group of people that wants to trek the Mountain Gorillas should not exceed eight and if it exceeds then it will be split into two or more.

Trekkers are supposed to be above the age of 18years and below that age, you are considered to be a child therefore you will not be allowed to trek and trekkers are given only one hour observing the gorillas in silence and maintaining a reasonable distance.
