Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda
Nyamsika Cliffs in Murchison Falls. Still the current gets low at Nyamsika cliffs in Murchison Falls as the water attracts the famous Parker Island which is a very shallow area of the river which is again an immersing home to the Hippo potamus and an outstanding area breeding for the Nile crocodiles.
But in the wet/rainy season, several small drainage channels come in via the Nyamsika area which can make the fishing activity quite challenging.
The best time to go fishing around the Nyamsika is occasionally starting July-September and beginning December-February which are the drier months in Uganda.
