Apparently the area is a great birding destination in Uganda with plenty of wild life, the welcoming springs of birds at the entrance to the gardens are breath taking before you embark on the trail for full adventure.
In the jungle you will be able to glance at several species which include; Broad-billed Roller, Black and white casqued horn bill and splendid starling, two highly vocal and conspicuous species you should find in the gardens are African Fish eagle and eastern Grey Plantain-eater, pink-backed pelican, storks, eastern grey plantain-eater, purple-banded sunbird, African jacana and the yellow-billed duck.
The area is easily accessible in that it only takes 20 minutes from Entebbe international airport. It can as well be accessed by boat and is about 10-minute walk from the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre commonly known as Entebbe Zoo. Payments for this experience can be made at the time of entry and thus open to visitors annually to both foreign and local travelers. You will be required to pay $15 for this wonderful experience
