The East African tourist Visa was a joint document made with effort made by the respective heads of state in partner countries of Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda to enable travelers to obtain multiple entry visa for tourist to explore the diversity of East Africa.
Upon inception the validity of the Visa card is 90 days from the day of approval which will guarantee you to enter the regions from the country that issued the visa and move to other two countries without paying another Visa or applying for another.

Eligible Person: Tourist, no restrictions on country of origin
Dependents: All persons must apply in their own right.
Travel Documents: All tourists must have an official and genuine international passport, valid for not less than 6 months from the time of visa application.
Visa Fees: 100 USD per visa
Validity of Visa: 90 days
Single of Multiple Entry: Multiple entry to all three countries
Work or no Work: Work is not permitted
Visa Extension: An East Africa Tourist Visa shall not be extended.
East African residents living in the three stated countries that Is; Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda are only required to present valid resident permits to explore the diversity in any of the countries
East African citizens are as well required to present their valid national Identification (IDs) or Student ID upon exploration.
East African Tourist Visa can be accessed through immigration offices upon arrival, diplomatic offices of the representatives of the above countries and online in the respective countries a process that requires you to visit the countries websites to make bio-metric submissions and so that you can be assisted
The East African tourist Visa is provided to you upon arrival in the country you are visiting first at the official points of entry including Entebbe International airport for Uganda, Kigali international airport for Rwanda and Jomo Kenyatta International airport and Port Mombasa for Kenya
Without an East Africa Tourist Visa, you may spend a minimum of $130 to visit the three countries: Kenya ($50) + Rwanda ($30) + Uganda ($50).
