Our 3day lake Mburo national park & Jinja which is the source of Nile safaris comes to bring the best version of the African wild in a park in only a 4 hour drive from Kampala. Lake Mburo is a home for many wildlife species that you won’t see anywhere else in Uganda. It is uniquely known for being a home for the beautiful Impalas and is among the only three protected areas nationwide where you can witness the Burch ell’s zebra happens and the other two are not easily accessible since they are in remote areas that are pian upe and Kidepo forest reserve.
Day one: Meet at the airport and a transfer to Lake Mburo national park
One of our professional driver guides will pick you at Entebbe international airport and will transfer you to Lake Mburo national park situated in the western part of Uganda. A 4hour drives to Lake Mburo national park. As you travel across fabulous rolling hills, landscapes, cultivated terraces will give you best view.
A stop over at mpambire, to watch how the locals make drums using the ancient ways giving a hint of African touch.
You will proceed and make another stop-over at the Uganda equator line for photography
When you arrive at the lodge, you will participate and enjoy a game drive in the park and make a 1hour boat ride on Lake Mburo to see and explore the tremendous landscapes as you search of close encounters with the park’s crocodiles, Hippos, Bush bucks, Duikers, and various bird species on the lake.
Day Two: Morning game drive, transfer to Jinja city and explore the sources of the Nile
After an early morning breakfast, you will set off for Jinja city to visit the source of the Nile, Africa’s longest river. As you check in your accommodation after you will go for your day’s activity. Proceed to the real source of the Nile and see where the longest river originates. Explore the source of the Nile all day and return in the evening for you dinner, accommodation, and an overnight.
Day three: Jinja city tour, rafting and transfer back to Kampala.
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a short drive through a historical city, and then go for white water rafting on the Nile. There after you will transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight and this will be the end of your Lake Mburo national park and source of the Nile safari.
