Day 01

Kigali to Musanze Town

Our team will meet you right at the airport for a smooth start to your journey. If you need a place to stay before your tour begins, we can arrange accommodation at an extra cost. After meeting your Safari Vacations & Travel Services guide, you'll be driven to Musanze Town, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, ready for the next day's Golden Monkey trekking. If time allows, enjoy a relaxed stroll through the local crafts market and a visit to the Genocide Memorial for a deeper understanding of Rwanda's history.

Day 02

Gorilla Trekking and Airport Transfer

Rise early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for your trekking briefing. Pack water and a light lunch, and consider hiring a porter for just $15 to carry your bag along the trail. Once briefed, you'll join a small group of eight trekkers guided by an experienced park ranger for an incredible hour spent with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Don't forget your rain jacket, since weather in the park can shift quickly. After this life changing encounter, you'll be transferred back to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
